Thailand’s very own Montauk Monster

Looks like Thailand now has its very own version of the Montauk Monster.

According to the source, a strange hairless creature was found at Tambon Thepkiri, Nong Bualamphu province by a 49-year-old Ms. Saengduen Saenpu. The creature is described to look like “a bat,  a dog and a cat” and it was found yesterday (June 7, 2010) underneath the pantry cupboard shortly before it died.

After bringing the dead creature to the temple to perform a ritual, locals gathered in the masses to try and get lottery numbers from the creature (a common and bizarre Thai practice).

Looking at the creature, it looks more like a dead hairless chihuaha rather than some unidentified mythological anomaly but oh well, let the villagers have their fun.
